With it's human-hand process of makings beer, River City Brewing began life functioning solely as a micro-brewery, without a pub or tasting room, it's priority was making beer. But before a single drop of beer was brewed the owners of the brewery needed to field a cycling team in something other than the clothes they trained in. First up.. an identity was developed to reflect the locally rooted flagship beer, River City Red. A literal local depiction emerged accompanied by a strong, dominate type usage designed to let RED clearly define the brand offering. With the primary product identity locked down we branded the cycling team with a combination of River City Brewing and RED.
From there, the small batch craft brewer developed more brand offerings along with adding a tasting room and more cycling kits. Hands on with all.
